I dream of a man who supports my ambitions and glories in my success Of a man who would be proud of my accomplishments Instead of feeling less than in the presence of my achievements I want a man who demands my excellence on the path to progress But comforts me when I am not at my best I want a man who knows I need no man But revels in knowing I want him and chose him I want a man of spirit and adventure to join me on my quests To share this journey of ups and downs I dream of a man who loves me for me, who cannot be compared A man who knows my worth Who worships my body like a temple next to his own Who will not be lowered by fragile egos or made unequal I dream of a man who complements my strengths and watches my back I want a man who seeks to elevate me and us for we are a team I dream of a man who supports my victories as his own That we two are greater than the sum of our parts
